Business Intelligence Systems Developer
Walter has always been interested in social justice issues and in efforts towards the improvement of people’s wellbeing. In the mid-90s, he enrolled in a seminary in Puerto Rico and got ordained as a minister in a mainstream denomination seeking concrete ways to have a better world. In his professional career, he has worked as pastor, school registrar, financial aid officer, and software developer. As a Business Intelligence Systems Developer at AHCI, Walter is responsible for gathering data reporting requirements and translating them into applications and dashboards that facilitate effective decision-making and oversight. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computerized information systems from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus, and a certificate in software development from the Community College of Allegheny County. In his free time, Walter spends time with family and works as a licensed massage therapist.
