Some people are just born to help others. Stephanie is one of those people. Even as a child, she remembers that she wanted to help those in need, particularly people who were disadvantaged in some way. Driven by this passion, Stephanie started her work in the behavioral health field at a young age by going to work with her older brother at a summer camp for special needs children. , She has been interested in helping others ever since! She earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work and has worked with both children and adults of varying abilities in her career. Since joining AHCI in 2008, Stephanie works on the Beaver County team to insure quality resolution of denials, complaints and grievances in Beaver County. Stephanie also supervises two staff who build a network of support for adults, families and youth. On a personal note, Stephanie comes from a large Greek family, and likes to relate life happenings to episodes of Seinfeld. That’s one way of looking at life that we don’t hear about too often!
