Ilinca Metes

Senior Policy Analyst

Ilinca recently completed her PhD in Health Services Research and Policy at the University of Pittsburgh with a research focus on pharmaceutical policy, physician decision-making, and geographic variation in health care utilization. She is excited to start translating her work into the behavioral health care space, and for the opportunity to integrate quantitative, qualitative, and community-engaged research methods to help guide policy and analysis. She joins the AHCI team as a Senior Policy Analyst, which she knows will provide a wonderful setting for connecting both her research experience and interest in policy implementation and systems-level evaluation. Previously, Ilinca worked as a researcher on a clinical comparative effectiveness registry measuring patient-centered quality outcomes and disease progression for a large cohort of rheumatoid arthritis patients in the Pittsburgh area.
